 smear - coat or mark (something) messily or carelessly with a greasy or sticky substance.

 Dug -past participle of dig.

 Pursed up Lips - to contract into folds or wrinkles

gauge -
  1. an instrument that measures and gives a visual display of the amount, level, or contents of something.

  1. estimate or determine the amount, level, or volume of.
  1. measure the dimensions of (an object) with a gauge.

  2. Squinting - looking at someone or something with one or both eyes partly closed in an attempt to see more clearly or as a reaction to strong light.

  3.  Lurched - make an abrupt, unsteady, uncontrolled movement or series of movements

  4.  Dusky - darkish in colour.

      Earnest - resulting from or showing sincere and intense conviction.

      Fractured- break or cause to break.

     Adobe- a kind of clay used as a building material.

     Mottled- mark with spots or smears of colour.

     Turret- a small tower on top of a larger tower or at the corner of a building or wall, typically of a castle.

     Muffle- wrap or cover.




 With my  group we discussed these words and It seemed that not all of them were known. We were discussing In witch sentence were they used and how. My group members asked me Interesting questions that made me think and made me Improve for the future.
